Language Stars is pleased to introduce our new “What I Learned Today” Activity Sheets!  We look forward to your feedback as we extend this exciting new initiative to all our languages!

Each week at Language Stars we focus on a specific Learning Goal to reinforce key structures. Our 12 Learning Goals include items such as describing people, expressing likes and dislikes, expressing possession with “to have” structures, and expressing motion with “to go” structures.

These Activity Sheets, sent home with your child each week, provide a snapshot of each weekly structure and provide optional reinforcement opportunities for families looking to do more at home. You can also access and print the Activity Sheets here, by clicking on the weekly links below.

You can use this optional reinforcement tool with your child in two ways:

  1. Play the simple game together to practice the week’s Learning Goal, then bring it back to show the teacher!  In-center families can collect the sheets in your child’s Big Book of FunImmersion® (under the Activities Tab) to follow his/her learning across the season!  Language Stars At School families can collect the sheets in your Language Stars School Folders.

  2. Consider trying our “At Home” activity suggestions listed on the bottom of each sheet to integrate the featured structure into your everyday routine!
