Language Stars, the leading provider of early childhood foreign language education, is a rapidly growing educational organization that offers play-based, full immersion foreign language programs in Spanish, Mandarin, French, German and Italian. We currently teach 6,000 students each week, helping them move toward proficiency in a foreign language, build cognitive skills and have fun at the same time! Our dynamic, native-speaking teachers immerse our students 100% in the target language through our FunImmersion^® curriculum, comprised of games, music & movement, art projects and many other engaging activities. We focus on a young child's "Window of Opportunity" to absorb a foreign language naturally, and we track the progress of each child. We offer our FunImmersion® programs in 10 Language Stars language centers, 8 satellite centers and over 100 public and private schools in the Chicago and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas. We have plans for additional nation-wide expansion.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Language Stars is seeking Center Directors (CD's) to run existing or new Language Stars centers. We seek Center Directors who are looking for a long-term career and who will strive to grow with our company, while achieving merit-based increases in responsibility and compensation. Center Directors are responsible for the overall success of their respective centers, focused on:

• Enrollment and revenue growth
• Customer retention
• Team building (managing a team of international teachers)
• Program quality
• Local marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years + management experience, ideally in an educational business
• Strong communication, organizational & leadership skills
• Experience managing, motivating & training staff
• Passion for working with children
• Solid attention to detail
• Access to vehicle in order to execute on marketing goals and manage center logistics
• Fluency in a foreign language is a plus, but not required

LOGISTICS

• Center Directors work 5 days per week spanning Mon-Sat from approximately 8:15 am – 6:00 pm
• Locations are available in the Chicago and Washington D.C. areas

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Competitive salary and seasonal results-driven bonus amounting to $50,000-60,000 annually
