How can I bring
Language Stars
to my school?

Language Stars partners with school administration, parent teacher organizations, and/or parent groups to develop a program for each individual school.

Typical steps in establishing a program include:

  • Meeting with school administration and/or parent groups to establish goals.
  • Language Stars presentation at your school:
    • A short presentation with Q/A and a demonstration.
    • For all interested parents or a "language committee" subset.
    • Can be coordinated with existing PTA/O meetings.

Example of typical programs (can be
customized to meet your school's needs):

  • Minimum of two, 45 minute groups (1 ½ hours), with an average of 6 children per section, to start the program.
  • Maximum of 14 children per section.
  • Adult involvement – Language Stars requires participation by a school staff member or parent volunteer, primarily for logistical support and role modeling.  Parent volunteers receive a 50% tuition scholarship for their significant commitment and contribution.
