"Which Language is Right for My Child?"

The answer is entirely a matter of personal preference.  Language Stars parents often focus on a particular language to open opportunities for their children, to preserve family heritage, or to communicate with other members of the family. In selecting a language, you might also consider what kinds of opportunities exist to support a language. Do you have ready access to a French-speaking sitter? Does your local Target or bookstore store carry movies and books in Spanish? Does your child's best friend also speak Mandarin?

The most important thing to know is that no language is easier to learn for your child than another language.  Young children below the age of 10 have a unique ability to absorb a foreign language like a sponge, and to build a foundation in a new language alongside their primary language.  By learning from Language Stars' dynamic, native-speaking teachers, they will also absorb a foreign language with a native accent—something that grows more challenging as they enter adolescence and adulthood.
