Our Leader is a Believer

When she was younger, Leslie Lancry, owner of Language Stars LLC, pursued her love of language. By the age of 21, she was already fluent in French, Russian and Spanish, conversant in German and Japanese, and had gained invaluable experience teaching foreign languages to kids and adults alike. Lancry earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees at Harvard University and took that wealth of knowledge with her to Bain & Company in France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and the U.S. After that she joined Disney Consumer Products in Europe as Manager of Strategic Planning.

Following her corporate stints around the globe, Lancry turned her attention back to her true passion, spreading multilingual education to as many American children as possible. Through her research, she came to value the "Window of Opportunity" for young children to learn a foreign language easily, and she committed herself to fostering a future generation of multilingual Americans by focusing on young children through Language Stars.

Leslie currently resides in Chicago with her French husband and her two multilingual children.
